Plan your next night under the sky

Three upcoming gatherings, nearest first. Each session focuses on shared observing habits, clear constellation practice, and calm community learning.

  1. Nearest gathering

    Moonrise Orientation Walk

A gentle first-hour session to align binocular users before deeper sky observation.

Reminder: bring a red-light torch and an extra layer for wind after sunset.

  2. Andromeda & Triangulum Field Night

We will compare naked-eye locating methods with low-magnification finder workflows.

Reminder: arrive 15 minutes early so equipment checks stay quiet and quick.

  3. Meteor Log & Sketch Exchange

Members share short observing notes and sketch techniques for dark-adapted sessions.

Reminder: bring your latest field notebook page for the closing circle.

Meetup details

A calm, beginner-friendly night under the stars.

Each Moonbeam meetup is a relaxed group observing session. We start with a short orientation, share clear sky notes, then spend time spotting easy targets together at a comfortable pace.

You can join to learn, observe quietly, or ask practical questions. No advanced experience is expected, and members are happy to help first-time visitors settle in.
